Appointments are available within 1-2 weeks of the referral from your doctor or self-referrals.
It is dependent on the complexity of the child’s presentation, can last from 30 minutes to 60-90 minutes.
If you are using private healthcare insurance, most insurance companies require a referral letter from your GP to me before you attend the appointment with me. You’ll need to bring details of the insurance company, your policy number and your claim number with you to the appointment.
You can contact my secretary on 02032827287 or email info@childdevelopmentspecialist.co.uk
PLEASE NOTE that if you are unable to attend the appointment for any reason please telephone my secretary on 02032827287 to cancel giving at least 24 WORKING HOURS notice. Out of hours, a message can be left on the answer machine. A fee of £100 will be charged if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the planned clinic date. This is to cover room hire and other costs that I incur even if I do not see your child. Insurance companies will not pay for a cancellation/nonattendance fee.
Each case will be different, but please refer to the consultation section for an idea of what to expect.
